The client, a Fortune 1000 company, and the bookseller with the largest number of retail outlets in the United States, needed a mobile analytical application for regional leaders that benchmarks store performance across retail categories, provides key insights into staffing, and offered powerful “What-If” analysis.
The What-If analysis allows stakeholders to simulate adjustments in acquisition and retention of buyers, as well as optimizations into trips per customer, and units purchased per customer, to predict how changes will affect the business. Insights are presented in natural language to avoid confusion of actual metrics versus predictive metrics.
